The collective of my expressions…
An exploration in color and texture.
I am extending a Thank You in advance for taking this journey through paint with me. For exploring and appreciating the female form the way I do. For being transparent in your opinions as I will be in my growth. On this journey we will explore creating bold pieces that celebrate the female form in all its pure glory. We will create shapes out of pigments of various colors and we will tell a story of feminine and masculine energy; the dance of power they play..

The Minis *
Wanting to take a step back and remember why I enjoy painting the female form. I created the Minis as a form of figure study. The objective is to paint the essence of the body and not worry myself with details. Working small allowed me to do just that. This series serves a dual purpose as I get to play around with color theory as well. I absolutely love everything about this series and look forward to creating new ones that speak to you! Each piece is a 5in by 7in and framed, accented with Gold Leaf or Silver leaf.
Featured Pieces
Lament of the Night
Lament of the Night lingers in the heavy stillness of the internal war waged against one’s own reflection. Set within a grove of birch trees accented with gold, the grayscale figure becomes both witness and battleground—caught in the intimate tension between how she is seen and how she struggles to see herself.
Her posture is weighted, a hand lifted to her brow as if bracing against an unseen tide. The other rests against sheer drapery pooled across her lap, the fabric acting as both shield and mirror. It softens her form while revealing the quiet tremors beneath—the anxious, cyclical dialogue of body dysmorphia that reshapes even the gentlest moments of pause.
Here, the forest becomes symbolic: tall, unyielding, and honest. It surrounds her with a kind of truth she has not yet made peace with. Gold traces her edges, flickering like the faint memory of self-recognition, a reminder that even in the darkest internal battles, there is something within her still reaching toward light.

A Quiet Joy
A Quiet Joy reflects the tender and often complicated act of making peace with oneself while living in the shadow of body dysmorphia. Rendered in grayscale, the figure stands draped in a sheer veil, her form partially concealed yet undeniably present. The fabric becomes both shield and revelation—soft enough to expose, gentle enough to protect. It catches the light like a breath paused between uncertainty and acceptance.
She serves as a sister piece to Lament of the Night, continuing an intimate dialogue about self-perception, vulnerability, and the slow, brave return to self-acceptance. Where Lament of the Night dwells in the heaviness of struggle, A Quiet Joy offers the exhale—a gentle reminder that peace often arrives quietly, and sometimes only after we have walked through the dark with trembling hands.

Elowyn of the Bounded / Original
Elowyn of the Bounded is a compelling mixed-media piece that captures a poignant interplay of restraint and transformation. The black-and-white painted figure reclines on her side, her pose exuding both vulnerability and quiet strength. Sewn onto the canvas are wings bound tightly against her form, a striking metaphor for limitation and suppressed potential.
A single gold-dipped blue feather emerges from the composition, symbolizing a glimmer of resilience and the enduring desire to transcend imposed boundaries. The figure’s face is obscured by a gold and blue mask, adding an air of mystery and introspection, while inviting viewers to contemplate themes of hidden identity, power, and the courage to confront constraints.

The Moirai 1-3
Moirai is a powerful triptych that intertwines symbolism, mythology, and mixed-media artistry to explore themes of destiny and the human experience. The three panels depict grayscale renditions of the female form, each figure exuding strength, vulnerability, and timelessness. The deliberate absence of color focuses attention on the contours, shadows, and textures of the forms, emphasizing their sculptural quality and emotional depth.
Encasing the figures are intricate, lace-like sea fan accents, which appear as natural extensions of the fae realm. These delicate yet resilient patterns symbolize the threads of destiny, woven by the unseen forces of the fae world. Much like the Moirai of Greek mythology, these fae figures evoke the essence of fate—mysterious, unyielding, and ever-present—guiding the unseen threads that bind their magical forest to the mortal realm.

Mixed Media on Canvas
The use of various colorways in my paintings is intentional and plays a crucial role in conveying the depth of emotion and individuality within each piece. Colors are carefully chosen to evoke different moods, from vibrant and bold to soft and contemplative. This diverse palette reflects the myriad emotions that women experience, emphasizing that there is no singular definition of beauty. By embracing a range of colors, I aim to break free from traditional norms and create a visual narrative that resonates with the complexities of femininity.
