Petals of Grace
Petals of Grace was a piece I really wanted to leave up to interpretation, and many I received!
Most notably I always have a smidge of a religious/spiritual feel to all of my pieces and that’s the case with this piece, I was told that she embodied the grace that Jesus did. That she is the female version of Him.
I was also told they saw a transWoman sitting in her grace and power, in knowing of her acceptance into the world.
My intentions were to create a piece were trans women can see themselves somewhere along the journey and my hopes was that they did see their beauty, grace, and the power in their journeys!
